Nancy McDonald

Nancy McDonald has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and environmental science. Nancy started their career in 1986 as a General Science Teacher in the Peace Corps. Later, they worked as an Analytical Chemist at Calgene from 1988 to 1989, where they coordinated chemical analyses and supervised interns. Nancy then joined TestAmerica as an Environmental Chemist from 1989 to 1992.

In 1992, they joined MBT Environmental Laboratories as a QA/QC Chemist, where they developed and implemented a QA/QC program, conducted internal audits, and performed methods validation. After two years, they joined Tetra Tech EM Inc as a Senior QA Chemist. Here, they conducted formal data validation on environmental sample results, summarized validated sample results, and prepared data validation reports.

In 2010, Nancy joined Parsons as a Principal Scientist. Their responsibilities included preparing project-specific lab methods, reviewing and validating lab reports, and creating data validation reports.

Finally, in 2012, Nancy joined Bay West LLC as a Project Chemist, where they work currently.

Nancy McDonald completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from North Park University in 1981. Nancy then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Plant Physiology/Biochemistry at North Dakota State University from 1981 to 1983.
