Tarek Aboueid

Tarek Aboueid has worked in the environmental industry since May 2015. From 2012 to 2014, they held various roles, including Forestry Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Population Biologist Intern at Lincoln Park Zoo, Field Ecologist at V3 Companies, and Administrative Assistant at the Illinois State Water Survey. From 2015 to 2022, they have held roles at BBJ Group, including Project Manager, Staff Scientist II, and Scientist I. Tarek'sexperience includes performing environmental field work, such as soil gas sampling, sub-slab sampling, and groundwater sampling, as well as conducting Phase I and II ESAs. Tarek is currently working at Bay West LLC as a Project Geologist III, where they are working on various projects that include vapor intrusion sampling, groundwater, scheduling and working with subcontractors, and report writing, as well as managing budgets and MPCA guidance documents.

Tarek Aboueid obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2010 and 2014. Tarek also holds a certification from HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC. for 40 hours of training on OSHA HAZWOPER standards, obtained in January 2022.
