Abbie Lennox

Abbie Lennox is the current Chief Regulatory, Medical, Safety & Compliance Officer (RMSC) & Executive Board Member at Bayer. Abbie has over 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry. Prior to joining Bayer, Ms. Lennox served as the Head of Global Regulatory Strategy & Operations at Reckitt from July 2004 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the compliance of dossiers and Market Authorisations on various products including food supplements, OTC medicine, Herbal Medicine and Veterinary. Abbie also provided strategy to the business on launches and license updates to minimise disruption and cost implications.

Before their time at Reckitt, Ms. Lennox worked as the EU Registration Officer at Merck KGaA from May 2003 to July 2004 where they were responsible for the compilation, maintenance and compliance of dossiers and Market Authorisation's on various products including food supplements, OTC medicine, Herbal Medicine and Veterinary. Additionally, they provided strategy to business on launches and license updates to minimise disruption and cost implications.

Ms. Lennox began their career in 2000 as a Global Clinical Associate at GSK before moving to 3M Healthcare in 2002 where they served as a Global Regulatory Affairs Officer. In this role, they provided support for the submission of one EU MAA and two US NDAs in eCTD format for respiratory products. Abbie also provided support for maintenance of existing EU inhalation licenses (e.g. preparation of variation packages).

Abbie Lennox's educational career began when they studied biomedical science and chemistry at De Montfort University. Abbie graduated with a first class honours degree, and then went on to complete a PhD in the same field.
