Christian Sarto

Christian Sarto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector, currently serving as the Head of Central & Eastern European Countries Cluster for Consumer Health at Bayer since March 2006. Sarto has held various leadership roles at Bayer, including Head Country Cluster Iberia, Country Division Head for Consumer Health in Spain, and General Manager of Steigerwald Arzneimittelwerk GmbH, overseeing the integration of the acquired company. Sarto's background in mergers and acquisitions includes Vice President roles for both Healthcare and MaterialScience, as well as an Assistant Vice President position at Bankhaus Metzler. Academic qualifications include a Diplomkaufmann degree from the University of Bayreuth and completion of a Digital Transformation Program at IMD in 2020.
