Elizabeth Straley

Elizabeth Straley is a highly experienced researcher and educator with a robust background in sociology and neuroscience. Currently serving as a Senior Research Assistant and lab manager at Baylor College of Medicine since June 2019, Elizabeth has contributed significantly to research on attention and sensory perception. Prior roles include community management at Neuromatch Academy and various instructional and research positions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where responsibilities encompassed survey construction, experimental design, statistics, and course coordination in subjects related to health disparities and social research. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has prior degrees in Sociology and Anthropology from the same institution and Creighton University.
