Marcia Magano

Marcia Magano, CIA has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to internal audit and risk management. Marcia most recently served as the Head of Internal Audit at Bayport Financial Services. Prior to that, they worked at Absa Group, where they held the position of Vice President: Credit Risk Assurance Specialist and Vice President- Rest Of Africa Operations. Marcia also served as the Acting Chief Internal Auditor at Barclays Bank Of Botswana. Marcia's earlier experience includes roles at Barclays Africa Group Limited as the Vice President - Internal Audit and Business Markets Auditor. Marcia began their career at Standard Bank Group as an Internal Auditor and Trainee. Throughout their career, Marcia has demonstrated strong skills in audit planning, team management, and risk assessment.

Marcia Magano has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, which they obtained from the University of North West during the period of 2001 to 2003. In terms of professional certifications, they obtained a General Internal Auditor (GIA) NQF7 degree from The Institute of Internal Auditors in 2009 and an Internal Audit Technician (IAT) NQF6 degree from the same institute in 2008. Additionally, Marcia Magano obtained the Certified Internal Auditor certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors - Houston Chapter in January 2010.
