Felix Mercer Moss is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience across prominent organizations, currently serving as a Senior Principal Data Scientist at BBC since September 2017, specializing in developing machine learning recommendation engines and an in-house machine learning platform. Prior to BBC, Felix worked as a Research Scientist at Netflix, where a machine learning solution for video compression was developed, and held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Bristol, focusing on perceptual video compression research. Felix co-founded two startups, including a mobile application for young intellectual couples and a technology startup for wardrobe management. Felix holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, along with a Master of Research in Vision Science and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Leeds, complemented by an international study at the University of Toronto.
