César Alarco León is currently the Head of Retail Channels at BBVA en Perú since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Performance Incentive & Productivity at BBVA en Perú from June 2020 to April 2022. Before joining BBVA en Perú, César was the Commercial Director Peru at C2 Sourcing from January 2018 to May 2022. César also has work experience at Banco de Crédito BCP as a Business Management and Branches Development Manager from June 2016 to December 2017, Channels Intelligence Manager from April 2013 to May 2016, Financial and Business Planning Manager from April 2012 to April 2013, and Business Development Manager of Channels - CRM from December 2009 to April 2012. Furthermore, they worked as a Commercial Analysis Manager at LAN Airlines from July 2008 to December 2009, and as a Senior Trade Marketing Manager at Alicorp from April 2005 to July 2008. Lastly, César held positions at Millicom (Tigo) as a Quality Assurance Manager from July 2003 to March 2005 and as a Sales Marketing Manager from August 2001 to June 2003.
César Alarco León has completed several educational programs and degrees throughout their career. César began their education by obtaining a Licentiate Degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru, which they completed between 1995 and 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Marketing and Business Development from the same university between 2005 and 2007.
In 2018, César enrolled in the Mastering Design Thinking program offered by MIT Sloan School of Management, completing it online. César also acquired a certification in Mastering Design Thinking from the same institution in 2018.
Most recently, in 2022, César attended the IESE Business School and completed the Programa Corporativo de Direccion (blended).
