Victor Gordillo

Victor Gordillo, CFA has extensive experience in investment banking and leveraged finance. Victor began their career at Lehman Brothers in 2005, where they served as Vice President in the Leveraged Capital Markets division. During their time at Lehman Brothers, they were involved in structuring and distributing debt instruments for various financial sponsors and corporates. Victor was recognized for their contributions and named European Leveraged Finance House of the Year in 2005 and 2007.

In 2008, Nomura acquired Lehman Brothers' Investment Banking operations in Europe, and Victor Gordillo joined the company as Director in the Leveraged Finance Capital Markets division. At Nomura, they continued to structure and distribute debt instruments, including loans, mezzanine, and high-yield bonds, to support LBOs, P-to-Ps, refinancings, and re-capitalizations. Notably, they were involved in TVN's €400m High Yield Bond Refinancing.

In 2010, Victor Gordillo moved to Credit Suisse, where they held the position of Director in the Leveraged Capital Markets division. Victor'sresponsibilities included originating, structuring, underwriting, and distributing leveraged loans for private equity firms and sub-investment grade corporations. Credit Suisse's innovative approach to loans and leveraged finance was recognized when they were named the Most Innovative Investment Bank for Loans and Leveraged Finance in 2011.

Since 2012, Victor Gordillo has been with BBVA Continental as the Managing Director and Head of Global Clients and M&A in Peru. In this role, they are responsible for the client coverage effort for investment banking products and oversees the M&A team. BBVA Continental has been consistently recognized as the Best Bank in Peru since 2004.

Throughout their career, Victor Gordillo has demonstrated their expertise in investment banking and leveraged finance, contributing to the success of each company they have worked for.

Victor Gordillo, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD, obtained in 2003. Victor also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College, completed from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, Victor Gordillo holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter from the CFA Institute, which was obtained in 2002.
