Melissa Garza Coons has diverse work experience spanning different industries. Melissa started their career in 2010 as a Customer Excellence Liaison at Golden LivingCenters. In 2012, they interned at the International Rescue Committee. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Personal Banker at Citi. In 2015, they joined the National Council for Behavioral Health as a Conference Associate. Since 2017, Melissa has been with BBYO, where they have held various roles including Operations Specialist, Systems & Operations Manager, and Senior Manager, Systems & Operations. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director, Community Impact at BBYO.
Melissa Garza Coons attended the University of Virginia from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Foreign Affairs.
