Tyler Katz (TJ)

Tyler (TJ) Katz has a diverse range of work experience. Tyler (TJ) is the Founder and CEO of Logos by TJ since 2020. Prior to that, they held leadership roles at BBYO, including Greater Jersey Hudson River Region President and Chapter President of Livingston AZA. At BBYO, they were responsible for training and supporting local chapter boards, overseeing operations, budgeting, fundraising, service, recruitment, programming, and communications. Tyler also served as the Chapter Vice President of Membership and Recruitment at Livingston AZA, where they successfully recruited and retained over 200 members.

Additionally, Tyler worked as a Guest Lecturer at Summit Public Schools, teaching fundamental science lessons and conducting laboratory experiments. Tyler (TJ) also participated in various programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including the CDC Disease Detective Camp and the CDC Public Health Academy Internship. These experiences provided him with exposure to public health, outbreak investigations, laboratory work, and attending lectures from subject matter experts.

Furthermore, Tyler has trained as an Emergency Medical Technician Student at Community Safety Consultants, where they learned to assess and treat various medical conditions. Tyler (TJ) also engaged in medical shadowing as a Virtual Shadow at MedSchoolCoach, exploring different specialties. Lastly, they completed an online summer course at the CDC, which focused on educating the public about the organization's work.

Tyler (TJ) Katz completed their high school education from Livingston High School, earning a High School Diploma in the STEM field from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained certifications in "Introduction to Hazardous Materials" and "Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100" from FEMA. In the same year, they also obtained the "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)" certification from the American Heart Association.
