Dwight Graves has a diverse work experience in various roles related to emergency preparedness and response. Dwight started their career in 2011 as the Owner and Trainer of JMG Logistics, where they provided training for emergency medical system resources in disaster response. From 2012 to 2014, they worked for BCFS Health & Human Services in roles such as Incident Management Team member, Senior Project Specialist, and Type I Incident Management Team Division Supervisor. Dwight also supported the City of Los Angeles as a Project Specialist during this time. In 2015, Graves worked for the US Department of Homeland Security, Federal Resources, and the State Public Healthcare Coalition, providing training and support in emergency management. Dwight also served as a Course Lead and Master Instructor for the Center for Domestic Preparedness, delivering training on managing Ebola patients. In recent years, they have been an Adjunct Instructor at LSU Shreveport and has provided consulting support for healthcare emergency preparedness through CMS. Additionally, they have worked as a Talk Radio Show Host and provided subject matter support for FEMA's National Incident Management System Resource Typing. Graves has also been involved in cybersecurity incident management response training and supporting our nation's Air National Guard bases in exercise and training. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise and contributions to emergency management and response efforts.

Dwight Graves, CHS NEMT-III, has a comprehensive education history in various fields related to homeland security and emergency response. Dwight obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Homeland Security and Public Safety from Herzing University between the years 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a State of Alabama Law Enforcement Standard Certification from The University of Alabama in 1993 and 1994, specializing in the field of law enforcement.

In addition, Dwight gained education in Fire Science/Fire-fighting, receiving an Associate of Science degree from Jefferson State Community College from 1990 to 1992. Further enhancing their emergency response qualifications, they completed an Emergency Medical Services program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1989 to 1991, focusing on EMS-Paramedic.

To augment their expertise, Dwight Graves also obtained a certification in the S.T.A.R.T. Triage Certification Course from Disaster Training in November 2018. This added certification reflects their dedication to staying updated with current practices and enhancing their skills in handling disaster situations.
