Gwen-Ann Chittenden

Vice President, Corporate Stakeholder Engagement at BCI

Gwen-Ann Chittenden has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. From 2020 to the present, they have been serving as the Vice President of Corporate Stakeholder Engagement at BCI. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, Gwen-Ann held the position of Director of Corporate Communication at British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), where they established the communication function and led a team of professionals. Gwen-Ann has also worked as a Manager of Corporate Initiatives at BCI from 2005 to 2014, supporting the CEO and CIO in developing the company's business strategy. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Director at Strategic Facilitation Group, Senior Strategist at Port Elizabeth Transitional Local Council, Strategist at Port Elizabeth City Council, and Development Planner at Port Elizabeth Municipality.

Gwen-Ann Chittenden pursued a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria from 2007 to 2011. Gwen-Ann also completed the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute between 2005 and 2006. Prior to that, Gwen-Ann completed their MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria from 2003 to 2005. Gwen-Ann previously attended St Andrews School and the University of the Witwatersrand, where they obtained a BSc TRP in Urban and Development Planning.
