Shirley Beveridge

Shirley Beveridge, PMP, has a diverse work experience in different roles and companies. Shirley started their career at Weyerhaeuser as a Field Intern/I.T. Analyst in 2000 and worked there until 2003. In 2003, they joined BCLC as a Sr. Programmer Analyst and later became a Project Manager in 2007. Shirley progressed to higher positions within BCLC, including Senior Manager, PMO from 2012 to 2019, Interim Director, PMO from 2018 to 2019, Director of Enterprise Services from 2019 to 2021, and Acting Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Business Technology from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Data Enablement and Automation at BCLC, starting in May 2021.

Shirley Beveridge, PMP has a Certificate in Business Leadership from UBC Sauder School of Business, obtained from 2015 to 2017. Shirley also holds a degree in Computer Systems: Operations and Management from Thompson Rivers University, completed in 2002. In addition, Shirley has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Macomb Community College, earned in 1990. Shirley holds several certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2015, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from Project Management Institute in 2009. Shirley also obtained a Managing Successful Programmes Registered Practitioner certification from APMG-International in December 2013, and they recently completed a course on Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications from UC Berkeley Executive Education in 2022.
