Priyanka Vaishampayan

Priyanka Vaishampayan has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2014, they began as a Trainee at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where they worked with UV visible spectroscopy, TLC, HPLC in API R&D Analytical department and learned about NMR, MS, IR spectroscopy, stability studies etc. In 2016, they became a Trainee at Gansons Ltd., where they worked on the project formulation and in-vitro evolution of drug delivery system for pediatric use, coating pellets with drug and polymer using Ganson’s fluidized bed processor coater, and optimizing pellet coating process parameters and formulation parameters. In 2018, they joined the Center for Drug Discovery, Northeastern University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked on a project biophysical and biochemical studies on endocannabinoid proteins, growing and harvesting bacterial cells with different amino acid mutations, and purifying the protein using sonication and affinity chromatography resin for NMR. In 2020, they began at LogicBio Therapeutics as a Research associate II, Process Development and Co-op Process Development. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Be Biopharma as a Process Engineer II AAV Process Development.

Priyanka Vaishampayan has a comprehensive education history. Priyanka completed their SSC from Indian education society's school Varsoli, Alibag in 2009. Priyanka then attended PTVA's Sathaye College, where they completed their Higher school certificate in Science in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they studied at VES College of Pharmacy Mumbai and obtained their Bachelor of Pharmacy - BPharm. Priyanka continued their studies at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy, where they completed their Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics in 2017. Finally, they obtained their Master of Science - MS in Biotechnology from Northeastern University in 2020.
