Christine has held various leadership roles in reputable companies and has made significant contributions in the fields of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, technical operations, and product development.

Dr. Vietz's most recent position was as the Chief R&D Officer at Beacon Biosignals, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Foundation Medicine for a period of ten years. Their roles at Foundation Medicine included SVP of Product Development, where they played a key role in the development of FoundationOne Liquid CDx, and VP and Head of Regulatory Affairs, where they built a world-class regulatory department and led the industry in CDx indications.

Before joining Foundation Medicine, Dr. Vietz held leadership positions at Progenika and Correlagen Diagnostics. At Progenika, they served as the Director of Technical Operations and successfully implemented policies and procedures to meet accreditation requirements. At Correlagen Diagnostics, they worked as the Director of Laboratory Operations, where they improved laboratory structure and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.

Dr. Vietz also has experience working at Pierce Biotechnology, where they held the roles of Associate Director of SearchLight Technical Support and Technical Operations Manager. During their time at Pierce, they contributed to the success of the SearchLight Multiplex Array business.

Christine Vietz, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 1996. Christine then pursued higher education and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university in 2001.
