Dingle Spence

Dingle Spence is a highly experienced professional in the fields of oncology and palliative care, currently serving as a Retreat Facilitator at Beckley Retreats and Jamaica Grief Retreats since 2022. Dingle has held the position of Director at the Jamaica Cancer Care and Research Institute since 2016 and is the President Elect of The Caribbean Palliative Care Association. Additionally, Dingle has been an Associate Lecturer at The University of the West Indies since 2004 and served as a Senior Medical Officer & Consultant at Hope Institute Hospital until March 2023. Dingle's international experience includes board membership with the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care and teaching at the Cicely Saunders Institute, Kings College London. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the University of Wales, Cardiff, FRCR in Clinical Oncology from Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, an MBBS from The University of the West Indies, and a BSc in Neurobiology from the University of Sussex.
