Alvar Piera

Alvar Piera possesses extensive experience in talent development and commercial growth, currently serving as the EU Senior Manager of Talent Development and Learning and the EU Danaher Business System Growth Leader at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics since October 2016. Prior to this role, Piera held various positions at Leica Microsystems from July 1993 to October 2016, including Global Director of Commercial Growth, Sales Director for Europe, and Global Director of the Sales Academy, showcasing progressive responsibilities in sales and marketing. Piera's career began at Sony from January 1991 to July 1993 as the Responsible of Customer Information Center and Product Demonstrator, followed by a role as a Technical Trainer at TVE from September 1989 to January 1991. Piera holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universitat Ramon Llull, completed between 1986 and 1992.
