George Hanson

George Hanson, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and program management within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager Operations at Beckman Coulter since January 2017, George has held several leadership roles, including Manager Value Engineering and Manager Development Science. Prior experience includes over 14 years at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where George worked as Senior Program Manager and held positions as Manager/Senior Staff Scientist at Life Technologies, Senior Scientist at Invitrogen, and Scientist at PanVera. George began a post-doctoral position at Molecular Probes Inc. from 2001 to 2002 after earning a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oregon and a BS in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
