Joel Geary

Joel Geary has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the field of human resources. Joel currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Clinical Chemistry & Immunoassay business unit & Medical Affairs at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Global Talent Management at the same company. Before joining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Joel was the Director of Human Resources for North America at Coloplast.

Joel has a long history with Beckman Coulter, where they held multiple roles including Director of Human Resources for the Chemistry & Immunoassay business unit, where they were responsible for HR leadership across multiple international locations. Joel also served as the Senior Manager of Human Resources for the Molecular Diagnostics business unit and as a Human Resources consultant for the Immunoassay Diagnostics business unit.

Before joining Beckman Coulter, Joel worked as a Program Manager for Global Talent Management and as a consultant for enterprise business execution software at another company.

Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Kinecta Federal Credit Union, where they led HR practitioners in various functions such as training and development, talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, and benefits.

Joel's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and an HR Manager at Target, as well as a Human Resources Representative at Marcus Corp - Crowne Plaza Northstar. Joel also served as the Employment Manager at Marcus Corp - Grand Geneva Resort.

Joel Geary attended Xavier University - Williams College of Business from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Joel later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organization Development & Change at the University of St. Thomas from 2012 to 2017.
