Chris Nichols

Chris Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris currently holds the position of Managing Director at Beckway, where they lead and coordinates strategic initiatives for private equity client portfolio companies. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Operating Director and Operating Director at Beckway, playing a key role in executing transformation and improvement initiatives to drive EBITDA growth.

Before joining Beckway, Chris worked at SSA & Company as a Director and Associate Director, leading various projects focused on operational transformation and process re-engineering. Chris'sresponsibilities included conducting capacity analyses, reducing scrap, and improving equipment uptime for high-volume packaging and manufacturing companies.

Earlier in their career, Chris served as a Continuous Improvement Manager and Production Manager at Pall Corporation, where they coordinated production lines and managed a team of associates. Chris also worked at Invacare as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, creating standard work for improvement activities and planning and executing Kaizen events.

Chris has also gained experience as a business owner during their time at Greener Dayz, where they were responsible for hiring, P&L management, and overseeing crew productivity and quality. Chris also held the position of Purchasing/Project/Continuous Improvement Manager at Action Building, Inc., where they developed supplier relationships, negotiated pricing, and ensured project specifications were met.

Additionally, Chris has a background in continuous improvement, having worked as a Continuous Improvement Manager at High Concrete Group and a KPO Manager at GAI-Tronics Corporation. In these roles, they established and managed continuous improvement departments, utilized value stream mapping to prioritize and execute Kaizen events, and provided sustainment reports for management.
