Gordon Dron

Gordon Dron is the Managing Director of EMEA and APAC at Jose Cuervo. Gordon has over 20 years of experience in the alcohol industry, working for companies such as Imperial Tobacco, Diageo, and William Grant & Sons.

Gordon started their career in 1988 as the Market Development Director for South East Asia at Diageo. In this role, they were responsible for opening and developing Route to Market Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Indonesia. Gordon also managed United Distillers brands portfolio in the Singapore and Malaysia JV's and the Duty Free business.

In 1996, Gordon became the Brands Portfolio Director Europe at United Distillers. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's portfolio of brands in Europe.

In 1998, Gordon joined Imperial Tobacco as the General Manager of Imperial Tobacco France. In this role, they merged 3 companies into 1 and grew profit from £5 million in year 1 to £25 million in year 3. Gordon also oversaw a team of 96 employees.

After 3 years at Imperial Tobacco, Gordon left to join Jose Cuervo as the Managing Director of Jose Cuervo Master Distributor. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the distribution of Jose Cuervo products worldwide.

In 2010, Gordon joined William Grant & Sons as the Managing Director of Europe Middle East & Africa. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations in these regions.

In 2013, Gordon left William Grant & Sons to join Jose Cuervo as the Managing Director of EMEA and APAC. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's operations in these regions.

Gordon Dron graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a SHND in Business Studies. Gordon then went on to study at Napier College in Edinburgh, where they earned a SHND in Business Studies and Marketing. Finally, they completed their education by earning 6 SCE Higher Grades from Glasgow Academy.
