Louise Warde Hunter serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR) since August 2024 and has been the Principal and CEO of Belfast Metropolitan College since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Secretary in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, where Louise led Housing, Urban Regeneration, and Local Government at the Department for Communities. Additional positions encompass Director of Policy and Deputy Secretary at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Head of Policing Policy and Strategy at the Department of Justice, and various leadership positions in the Department of Environment and the Department of Education. Louise also held a strategic role at Action for Children and worked as an independent consultant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in English and American Literature from The University of Manchester and a Master's Degree in Communication from Queen's University Belfast.
