Frida Grynspan's work experience includes being the Chief Science Officer at Believer Meats since January 2024. Before that, they were the Head of the Lonza Collaborative Innovation Center in Israel from September 2018 to February 2024. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Research and Development and Site Manager at Stem Cell Medicine from December 2013 to August 2018. Frida also held the position of VP of Research and Development at Collplant from 2011 to December 2013. From February 2009 to November 2011, they worked as the VP of Research and Development at Pluristem Therapeutics. Earlier in their career, they were the VP of Research and Development at Gamida Cell Ltd from 2003 to February 2009. Frida started their career as a Senior Scientist at Inteligene in Jerusalem in 1997 and later worked as a Research Biochemist and Coordinator of the Protein Core Facility at the Laboratories of Molecular Neuroscience and Aging in McLean Hospital from 1988 to 1996.

Frida Grynspan has a strong educational background in the sciences. Frida earned a Bsc in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1974 and 1978. Frida went on to complete an Msc in Food Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1982. Next, they pursued a Ph.D in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1983 to 1988. Lastly, they obtained a postdoctoral degree in Cell Biology from Harvard University, which they attended from 1988 to 1990.
