Hadi Abdi Ghavidel

Hadi Abdi Ghavidel is a Senior NLP Specialist and Research Scientist at Bell since April 2021, where responsibilities include leading the innovation and development of NLP/GenAI models for telecommunications and advancing research in the field. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal and Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan, a Mentor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, and a Senior Researcher at the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology. Hadi also held positions in academia, teaching various subjects related to linguistics and machine translation. Academic qualifications comprise a PhD in Electronic Business Technologies from the University of Ottawa, a Researcher in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, and a Master of Science in Computational Linguistics/Natural Language Processing from Sharif University of Technology.
