This position is for an Aviation Fleet Development Manager. Fleet Development is growing the aircraft fleet by adding aircraft to the 135 certificate.

This position is not related to managing a fleet of aircraft or vehicles.

Location: Remote; must reside in the U.S. with authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Summary:

As a Fleet Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic growth and optimization of our aircraft fleet. This role involves adding aircraft to our certificate by coordinating acquisitions, managing aircraft performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fleet growth strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Coordinate aircraft acquisitions, including negotiations, contracts, and financing.

  • Lead generation and prospecting new aircraft owners to expand the fleet.

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential aircraft owners, brokers, and industry partners.

  • Identify market opportunities and trends to support fleet growth initiatives.

  • Conduct presentations and meetings with prospective clients to promote BellAir's services and fleet management capabilities.

  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and finance teams to optimize fleet utilization.

  • Analyze market trends and provide recommendations for fleet expansion or upgrades.

  • Manage relationships with aircraft manufacturers, leasing companies, and service providers.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on fleet performance and development plans for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or aviation operations, preferably with a Part 135 operator.

  • Understanding of FAA regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in aviation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
