Andrew Kam is a seasoned music educator and conductor with experience spanning over a decade. As the Conductor of the Cadet String Orchestra at Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra since September 2015 and the Orchestra Director for Bellevue High School since August 2013, Andrew is actively involved in fostering music education and promoting equity and inclusion within the school community. Additionally, Andrew has performed as a violinist with Symphony Tacoma since 2013 and previously with Yakima Symphony Orchestra, Inc. from 2011 to November 2019. Andrew holds a Master's Degree in Music Performance from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Music in Music Teacher Education from the University of Miami.
