Dessislava Lange-Damianova is the Treasurer & Business Director at Bellingcat. Dessislava has over 20 years of experience in the media industry, working in a variety of roles including stringer, correspondent, editor, and presenter.

Lange-Damianova started their career as an editor at EconomyNews.bg in 1996. Dessislava then moved to BBC Global News Limited in 1999, where they worked as an editor and presenter for two years. In 2001, they became a correspondent for BBC News and remained in this role until 2005.

Dessislava Lange-Damianova has an executive education from The Wharton School in Business Analytics, an MBA Essentials from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Master's degree in Media & Communication Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Dessislava also has a Diploma in Arabic Language and Literature from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, and is a summa cum laude graduate of First English Language Gymnasium. In addition, they have certifications from Humentum in Certified Trainer in Financial Management, Oxford University School in Financial Management for Non-Profits, The Hague Academy for Local Governance in Gender Responsive Governance, and BBC World Service Trust in Broadcast Journalism.
