Brian Smart

Brian Smart is the current Capital Projects Manager at Bellingham Public Schools. Prior to their current position, Brian worked as a planner for the City of Bellingham and as a Senior Surface Water Technician for the City of Bellingham Public Works Department.

Brian has over 25 years of experience in the planning and construction field. Brian is a highly skilled project manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Brian is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Brian is able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and has a keen eye for detail.

Brian is a knowledgeable and experienced professional who is dedicated to their work. Brian is an asset to any organization and is committed to ensuring the success of every project they work on.

Brian Smart has a Bachelor of Science in Land Use Planning from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's degree in Leadership and Communication from Gonzaga University. Brian is also certified by StrongFirst as a StrongFirst Lifter.

Brian Smart reports to Curtis Lawyer, Capital Projects Director. They work with Julie Denton - Executive Administrative Assistant, Capital Projects, Corey Ayers - Capital Projects Manager.
