Yi Ding Chen

Yi Ding Chen has extensive work experience in various financial and investment roles. They worked as a Director at Benefit Street Partners starting in May 2019. Prior to that, they were an Analyst at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. from September 2015 to February 2019, focusing on fundamental analysis in the consumer and industrials/tech supply chain sectors. They also held the position of Vice President at Canyon Partners, LLC from October 2014 to August 2015. Before that, they were a Senior Analyst at Serica Partners from January 2009 to October 2014, responsible for sourcing and researching distressed/high yield debt opportunities across Pan-Asia. They began their career as a Credit Analyst at HBK Capital Management in April 2008, specializing in global cross-cap opportunities. They also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse from June 2006 to April 2008.
