Dani Rufus

Dani is the Philanthropy Coordinator at Benefits Data Trust and is responsible for stewarding relationships with philanthropic partners in Maryland and supporting the Philanthropy team. In Dani’s last position, they served as the Pennsylvania State Director for Rise, a nonprofit focusing on college affordability and basic needs accessibility.

Dani went to the University of Delaware, studying public policy and environmental studies. During their time there, Dani worked with a nonprofit focusing on pedestrian and non-motorized transit accessibility and were involved with local campaigns and environmental sustainability projects. After graduating, they went on to work on various political campaigns as a field organizer, field director, and campaign manager.
