Gert Lanckriet

Gert Lanckriet began their career in 2000 as a Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley. In 2004, they joined Trigeminal Solutions, Inc. as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board. In 2005, they became a Professor at the University of California at San Diego. In 2013, they became Co-Founder of Keevio, Inc. and Academic Ambassador / Co-Founder of Benefunder / Pushing Innovation. In 2015, they joined Amazon as Head of Machine Learning and Personalization at Amazon Music (Director), and later became Head of Machine Learning at Amazon Music and a Principal Applied Scientist.

Gert Lanckriet studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained their Ph.D. in 2005. Prior to that, they attended KU Leuven from 1995 to 2000. No additional certifications have been noted.
