Lauren Ortiz

Lauren Ortiz has over 10 years of work experience in the talent acquisition and sales industry. Lauren began their career in 2006 as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom, where they managed a 7.5 million dollar department in Women's Division and developed a team of 13 sales associates. In 2012, they took on the role of Membership Representative at CSUN - Student Recreation Center. In 2014, they moved to Yelp as an Account Executive, and in 2015 they became a Marketing Assistant at Simon Property Group. In 2016, they were a Recruiter at Culver Careers (CulverCareers.com), where they were part of the $10K Club and achieved 123% of quota in June 2017. In 2017, they became a Technical Recruiter at SkySlope, where they handled the full recruiting lifecycle and promoted to Technical Recruiter in October 2018. Lauren hired 50% of the company with a 75% retention rate within the first year. In 2019, they were a Technical Recruiter at Amazon Web Services (AWS), and in 2020 they became a Senior Recruiter at Raley's. In 2021, they were a Talent Acquisition Lead - Technical at H1, and in 2022 they are currently a Talent Acquisition Manager at Benepass.

Lauren Ortiz attended California State University, Monterey Bay from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. Lauren then transferred to California State University, Northridge, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts in the same field from 2011 to 2013.
