Benevity’s Learning Experience Designer is a smart, driven, problem solver to develop forward-thinking learning content for our global customers. You create and continuously improve learning experiences using a variety of approaches that engage learners and drive high-impact learning. You are responsible for developing high-quality training content in the following formats: interactive eLearning, videos, instructor-led content, virtual classroom design, training toolkits, and much more. The Learning Experience Designer innovates, moves quickly, and is not constrained by how things have been done before.

What you’ll do:

  • Designs and develops engaging learning experiences (live, on-demand, blended, social) that focus on Benevity’s solutions, products, and best practices
  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to translate their knowledge into effective learning experiences for customers
  • Uses an array of tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.) to produce training content that promotes learning through self-study, practice, and performance support
  • Leverages rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create learning for a rapidly changing environment
  • Develops assessment methods to measure learner comprehension and application of knowledge
  • Ensures learning content is up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and Benevity’s products
  • Continually evaluates solutions for accuracy, quality, business impact and scalability

What you’ll bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Adult Learning, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced global software company or technical training roles
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and strategies for driving learner engagement and knowledge retention
  • Experience building effective learning experiences in the format of simulations, gamified learning, microlearning, just-in-time solutions, job aids and infographics, videos, and animation/motion graphics
  • Proficient with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360), video development tools (Camtasia), audio editing tools (Audacity), screenshot tools (SnagIt), learning management systems, web conference tools (Zoom), and Microsoft Office
  • Proven project and time management skills in an environment where you may be contributing to several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build strong partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to achieve outcomes
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and high accountability to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
  • Creative and practical thinker with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A keen eye for design
