Heather Muir

Heather Muir has over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of the private and non-profit sectors. Heather has a strong background in corporate citizenship and philanthropy. Currently, they are the Director of Goodness Enterprise Sales Executive at Benevity, where they help diverse and successful organizations create and launch their corporate giving/volunteering and employee engagement programs. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Account Executive for the PNW at Blackbaud, where they helped organizations assess and improve their administrative procedures, increase their presence within their communities, and grow their constituent base. Heather also has a background in sales, having worked at ACTIVE Network, LLC as a Field Sales Senior Account Executive and as an Inside Sales Senior Account Executive. Before pursuing a career in sales, they worked as a Front Line Manager at Home Depot and gained experience in public relations and marketing as a Public Relations Intern at Chambers Bay Golf Course and as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce.

Heather Muir received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Washington, from 2002 to 2006.
