Samantha Powers Emenecker

Samantha Powers Emenecker is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and food analytical science. Beginning as an Undergraduate Researcher and later as a PhD Student at Washington University in St. Louis from January 2013 to May 2019, Emenecker focused on protein multimerization in the AUXIN RESPONSE FACTOR family of transcription factors. Subsequent roles at Benson Hill from June 2019 to the present include progression from Senior Research Associate to Scientific Manager and currently Sr. Scientific Manager in Food Analytical Science. Additionally, Emenecker gained experience as a Genome Engineering Intern at Monsanto Company during the summer of 2018.
