Sumesh Malhotra has over 17 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Sumesh started their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at Reliance Infocomm, where they developed IN services for the network, including Freephone and Premium rate services. In 2003, they joined Motorola, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they implemented device drivers for various components on the controller, receiver, and transmitter cards, such as NOR and NAND Flash, Timing Module, I2C EEPROMs, Thermal sensors, TSECs, Altera FPGA, Lattice Boot and Control FPGA, Broadcom 56307 Ethernet Switch, Broadcom DOCSIS chips BCM3216 and BCM3142, and Marvell PHY. In 2013, they joined Benu Networks as Director of Platform Engineering and Principal Software Engineer.

Sumesh Malhotra attended Boston University from 2007-2009, earning an MS in Computer Science. Sumesh then attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 1998-2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering.
