Beñat Espiña

Beñat Espiña has been working in the tech industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Software Developer Internship for SERIKAT, where they worked with Java, SQL Server, JSP, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, Struts, JAXB, CSS, JSTL, Maven, Tomcat, XSD, and XML Schema. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Software Developer for Wlingua, where they worked with PHP, Symfony2, Twig, HTML5, MySQL, Doctrine, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, Dojo, PHPSpec, Vagrant, and Git. During this same time, they also worked as a Lead Software Developer for LIN3S, where they worked with PHP, Wordpress, Twig, HTML5, MySQL, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, Behat, PHPSpec, Git, Capistrano, Apache, Varnish, Doctrine, React.js, Symfony, and Node. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer for StubHub · eBay Inc., where they worked with Groovy, Grails, GORM, Redis, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Python, Ruby, Java, Hibernate, SpringBoot, React.js, Redux, Jenkins, Sass, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and Docker. Finally, from 2019 to the present, they have been working as a Tech Lead for Lookiero, where they are responsible for the technical leadership of the Styling area, and as a Co-Founder & CTO for berba, where they lead the direction of the product from the technical point of view.

Beñat Espiña studied Technical Engineering in Computer Management at the University of Deusto from 2008 to 2012. Beñat then pursued an Ingeniería Informática degree at the same university from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they completed a Postgraduate in Software Solutions for the Internet at Universidad de Deusto in 2014.
