Kyle Galloway

Kyle Galloway has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. Kyle is currently employed as a Senior Backend Engineer at BeReal. Prior to this, they worked at VTS as a Principal Software Engineer for two years.

Kyle also has experience in education as a Lead Instructor for Web Development at BrainStation, where they introduced foundational skills and concepts to students.

Earlier in their career, Kyle held the position of Sr Software Engineer 2 at Uber and was responsible for software development for two years.

Kyle also worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Shopify, where they oversaw a team of engineers.

Before that, they held multiple roles at Twitter, including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer.

Their early career includes positions at Bloomberg LP as a Senior Software Developer, at IBM as a Software Developer, and at Red Hat as a Software Engineering Intern.

Kyle Galloway has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with Professional Internship from Queen's University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Kyle further pursued their education at New York University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Information Systems between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Kyle Galloway holds a certification in "Eliminating Discrimination and Harassment in a Global Workplace," which was obtained from Trüpp in April 2021.
