Rachel Robinson

Teaching Artist/director at Berkeley Playhouse

Rachel Robinson has diverse work experience in the field of music and theatre. Rachel is the founder and owner of Rachel Robinson Music Studio since 2007, where they provide private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages. Rachel specializes in Musical Theatre, Classical, and Pop repertoire.

Rachel has also worked as a Teaching Artist and Director at Berkeley Playhouse at Julia Morgan since 2012. Rachel has served as the Music Director for various productions at Berkeley Playhouse, including "The Little Mermaid", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "Shrek the Musical".

Furthermore, Rachel has worked as a Music Director for Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre in 2015, where they were involved in the production of "South Pacific". Rachel also served as a Director and Teaching Artist at Bay Area Children's Theatre from 2013 to 2015.

Rachel has a Music Director role at BOXCAR THEATRE in 2014 and again in 2012. Additionally, they have worked as the Conservatory Director and Music Director at The Willows Theatre Company from 2011 to 2012.

Earlier in their career, Rachel served as a Music Director and Teaching Artist at Stage Left Children's Theater from 2007 to 2010. Rachel also directed a staged reading of the new musical "Camp Rolling Hills" at Camp Rolling Hills in 2008, and was a Music Director at Long Lake Camp for the Arts in the same year.

Through their various roles and experiences, Rachel has showcased their expertise in music direction, teaching, and directing in the field of music and theatre.

Rachel Robinson attended New York University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance.
