Van Langham, CSP has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Van started their career in 1988 at Thiele Kaolin Company, where they held various positions for nearly two decades. In 2006, Van joined Team Excavating Company as an H.R. & Safety Manager until 2010. Following that, Van worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Sandersville Technical College from 2008 to 2013. In 2010, Van took on the roles of Safety & Human Resources Director at Two State Construction Company and Training Center Director/Authorized Trainer at Two State Safety Training Academy, both of which they held until 2016. In 2015, Van founded Langham Safety Consulting, LLC. and also worked as an Independent Contractor for US-Reports as a Risk Services-Safety Specialist (Mining) until 2017. Currently, Van serves as the Director of Risk Management at Berkley Industrial Comp (a Berkley Company).

Van Langham, CSP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, which was obtained from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, Van Langham, CSP completed an Associates of Applied Science degree with specializations in Management (H.R. & Operations) at Augusta Technical College from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Van Langham, CSP holds several certifications including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals obtained in December 2021, Associate Safety Professional (ASP) obtained in November 2021, OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer obtained in November 2010, Mine Surface Certified Foreman (Health and Activity Certification) obtained in March 2010, and Authorized MSHA Instructor (Unlimited) obtained in December 2006.
