Patrick Borek

VP, Human Resources at Berkshire Health Systems

Patrick Borek joined Berkshire Health Systems as Vice President for Human Resources in October of 2017. He is responsible for developing the System’s strategic plan to attract, retain, and develop an engaged and customer-focused workforce, and all aspects of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, Labor Relations, Compensation, Employee Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Learning and Leadership Development.

Borek received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queens College, and his MBA from Capella University. He brings 30 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare human resources. Before joining BHS, he was the Senior Vice President for Human Resources at Health Quest Systems, Inc., a three-hospital healthcare system 90 miles north of New York City. Previously, Borek led Human Resources functions at CentraState Healthcare System in New Jersey, Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and Booth Memorial Medical Center (presently New York Presbyterian Queens).
