Moses Banda Aron

Research Associate (snake Envenoming Research Group) at Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine

Moses Banda Aron is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Research and Impact Manager at Partners In Health since January 2017, Moses has provided technical guidance on various health programs, including COVID-19 and HIV/AIDS, while managing data systems and reports in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in Malawi. In addition to this role, Moses is a Research Associate at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, focusing on snakebite knowledge in Malawi, and previously held a Research Fellow position with the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. With a strong foundation in statistics and public health, Moses holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Malawi, a Master of Public Health from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Hamburg.
