Debra Wilson

Debra Wilson has extensive experience in the plastics industry, currently serving as the ISO TC61 SC14 WG1 Convenor and USA Delegation Leader at the International Organization for Standardization since 1996, focusing on polyolefins and testing standards development. Additionally, Debra is active with RecyClass as a member since January 2023, participating in teams aimed at enhancing Designing for Recycling. Debra has been involved with ASTM International since 1985 as a Board Member and Corporate Member of D20 on Plastics. Furthermore, Debra has served as a committee member at the Association of Plastic Recyclers since January 2021 to improve Design for Recycling Guidelines. In the corporate arena, Debra serves as the Material Science Director for the Consumer Packaging Division at Berry Plastics Corporation and has a background in sales and technical support roles with companies like Braskem, Dow Chemical, Union Carbide, and Shell Oil Company, emphasizing product development and technical service in rigid packaging and consumer applications.
