Unit Leader For The Midlands & Armed Forces Community Network Lead at BES Group

Lee Chapman has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Vehicle Mechanic in the British Army from 2003 to 2007. Lee then moved on to become a Workshop Supervisor from 2007 to 2011, taking on additional responsibilities and providing guidance to junior engineers. Chapman then served as a Workshop Supervisor and Workshop Maintenance Manager for different military units from 2010 to 2017, leading teams and overseeing maintenance and repair of specialized vehicles. In 2015, they founded their own company, LOONEY MOONEY LIMITED, where they successfully built a team and provided event services, catering to high-profile clientele. In 2017, Chapman joined British Engineering Services as an Engineer Surveyor, conducting daily engineering inspections across various industries and offering technical consultancy to clients. Lee also took on additional roles within the company, such as being the Unit Lead (Midlands) and Armed Forces Community Network Lead. In 2019, they became a STEM Ambassador, promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, Chapman co-founded and served as the CEO of the StAbL app, overseeing its design, delivery, and release, as well as strategic planning and business activities.

Lee Chapman attended Staffordshire University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Diploma of Higher Education in Engineering with a focus on Engineering/Industrial Management. In addition, Lee has earned various certifications, including a L4 Award for Professional Recognition in Leadership and Management, a L5 Certificate in Service Improvement, and a Licentiateship (LCGI) in Leadership and Management. Lee has also obtained certifications in Engineering Technician, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner. Additionally, Lee has obtained several certifications on LinkedIn in areas such as Lean Technology Strategy, Operations Management, Leadership, and Workplace Communication.
