Senior Director, Stewardship & Partnerships at Best Buddies International

Heather Gray has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Heather started their career at Best Buddies International in 2007, where they held various roles including Senior Director, Stewardship & Partnerships. During their time there, they were involved in marketing, partnership activation, development, and sponsor relations. Best Buddies International focuses on creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In 2014, Heather joined Lauren's Kids as the Executive Director. Heather played a key role in educating adults and children about sexual abuse prevention through in-school curriculum, awareness campaigns, and speaking engagements. Heather also led the organization's annual statewide awareness walk.

Before their time at Best Buddies and Lauren's Kids, Heather worked at the Miami Beach Community Development Corporation as a Tenant Services Coordinator. Heather ensured the well-being of elderly tenants through the implementation of recreational activities and securing additional support.

Prior to that, they worked as a Mentor at Non-Violence Project, USA where they spearheaded fundraising and mentored middle-school girls, focusing on nonviolence education and policy change advocacy.

Heather's work experience showcases their dedication to nonprofit organizations and their commitment to creating positive change in various communities.

Heather Gray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University, completing their studies between 2003 and 2006.
