Wim Ruhwinkel

Wim Ruhwinkel currently serves as a Developer and Software Tester at best practice consulting AG (bpc AG) since October 2023. Prior research projects at AG Risse and AG Heuer, both at Universität Münster, involved machine learning using PyTorch and the application of linear regression models for fitting interatomic potentials, along with active learning techniques and molecular dynamics simulations with LAMMPS. Previous experience includes a brief internship in mechatronics at GE Renewable Energy and an internship at DKM Darlehnskasse Münster eG. Wim Ruhwinkel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Münster and has studied at the Technological University Dublin, while earlier education was completed at Gymnasium Martinum Emsdetten with a focus on Physics and Mathematics.
