Laura Jacques

Laura Jacques has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Laura currently holds the position of Head of Talent Acquisition at BestSecret Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Recruiting & People at Origin from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they had a series of roles at Uber, where they served as the Head of Operations and Sales Talent Acquisition, EMEA from 2020 to 2021, the Head of Corporate and Sales Talent Acquisition, EMEA from 2019 to 2020, and Senior Recruiter, EMEA from 2018 to 2019. Laura'scareer also includes a significant tenure at Airbnb as a Recruiter, where they supported various teams including Design, Public Policy, Trust and Safety, and Employee Experience from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Recruiter at JustAnswer from 2011 to 2013 and at ExecSense from 2009 to 2011.

Laura Jacques attended the University of Washington from 2007 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
