CFO at Better Place Forests

Ankur Jain is the Chief Financial Officer of Better Place Forests, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Mynd, a PropTech company recognized as the fastest-growing startup in the Bay Area by SF Business Times in 2020.

As a founding team member of Mynd, Ankur was involved in developing the initial business plan, raising the first round, and getting the basic infrastructure in place. In the four years following, they helped scale the business to over 8,000 homes under management, transforming Mynd into one of the largest residential property managers in the United States.

In addition to leading the accounting, finance, data analytics, human resources, and legal teams at Mynd, Ankur also acted as the business owner and visionary for the Company's property accounting platform, working closely with engineers and product managers.

Ankur's experience in finance and property management make him uniquely qualified for their current role as CFO of Better Place Forests.

Ankur Jain received their MBA in finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Ankur then went on to earn their MSc in innovation and technology management from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Finally, they completed their BTech in information technology/computer science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Ankur Jain works with Eleanor Hooker - VP, Marketing, Chase Murdock - VP, Sales, and Brad Milne - Co-Founder & COO. Ankur Jain reports to John Collins, CEO.
