Pavel Anfimov

Pavel Anfimov currently serves as a Field Application Scientist at BGI Genomics since August 2022. Prior to this role, Pavel held various positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific from April 2015 to June 2022, including FAS Team Leader, where responsibilities included managing a team of six and overseeing recruitment processes. Earlier roles involved mentoring and providing customer support, alongside extensive training on qPCR, dPCR, and other technologies. Additionally, Pavel worked as a Business Development Specialist in Molecular-Biology Portfolio at ИнтерЛабСервис from May 2014 to April 2015, focusing on sales and support of leading products in the North-West of Russia. Pavel's research background includes a position as a Scientific Researcher at the ФГБУ НИИ гриппа Минздрава России from September 2003 to April 2014, contributing to influenza virus chemotherapy studies and authoring several publications. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biology from the Influenza Research Institute and a Master’s degree in Biology from Saint Petersburg State University.
